Our potluck gatherings normally begin at 6 p.m. with a "social hour" followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Bring an entrée, salad, or dessert to feed 6-8 persons. Coffee, tea and water will be provided.
Also don't forget to bring your own place setting and other beverage of choice.

If you would like to help set up, please come before 5:15. Helpers get to eat first!

We especially invite any new members to attend.
Guests are also quite welcome. Let's share the good times, eh!

Incidently, folks are encouraged to attend our entertaining programs
which usually start around 7:30 p.m. even if they can't make it to the dinner.
By all means, do what works for you.




JUNE'S GATHERING

DATE & TIME OF EVENT:

Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 6:00 p.m.

The social hour will start at 6:00 followed by potluck supper at 6:30.
Members are asked to bring a dish for 6 to 8 people - appetizer, salad, entree, dessert.



PROGRAM Starts at 7:30:

Program: Allen Rogers, a member of the Grass Valley Male Choir, who will talk about the history and lore of the Cornish in Nevada County.  Also, he will provide some details about the upcoming Cornish Gathering, a widely anticipated week long event July 21 - 26.  (Grand Bard Vanessa Beeman, as well as the Apollo-Marazion MaleChoir among others, will be participants.)  Allen will share the program with a SURPRISE GUEST!?  Sounds intriguing and visitors are welcome.  You don't have to be Celtic!

Also: Plans for the July 4th parade and picnic will be discussed.
