Our potluck gatherings normally begin at 6 p.m. with a "social hour" followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Bring an entrée, salad, or dessert to feed 6-8 persons. Coffee, tea and water will be provided.
Also don't forget to bring your own place setting and other beverage of choice.

If you would like to help set up, please come before 5:15. Helpers get to eat first!

We especially invite any new members to attend.
Guests are also quite welcome. Let's share the good times, eh!

Incidently, folks are encouraged to attend our entertaining programs
which usually start around 7:30 p.m. even if they can't make it to the dinner.
By all means, do what works for you.

November's Gathering

The Gold Country Celtic Society will have its monthly “Gathering” on
Wednesday, November 16th, at 6:00p.m.

Join us at 6 o’clock to socialize.

Bring a salad, entree or dessert to share for six to eight, tableware
and beverage of your choice. Coffee, tea and water will be available.
Sit down to a Potluck Dinner at 6:30.

Afterwards, members Mike Carr and Ron Cherry will entertain us
with a lively discussion of the Border Reivers, a unique type of
Lowland Scots family, hardscrabble families trying to survive in
harsh times with their own code of conduct and ethics.
For several centuries, these “Reivers” had a life of raiding across
the border to Northern England for cattle and goods, and fending
off raids from these same English who would seize anything that the
Scots owned! Come to this discussion and learn about the Reivers.

Guests are welcome. You don’t have to be Celtic!
